Saints cornerback Brandon Browner’s injury he suffered during Thursday night’s preseason matchup against the Baltimore Ravens is not serious, according to a league source.
Browner was one of five players on the defensive side of the ball that left early in the Saints 30-27 loss to the Ravens.
The source did not elaborate on what type of injury Browner sustained.
Also, Dannel Ellerbe aggravated a toe injury he sustained in training camp in the preseason opener according to the league source.
Delvin Breaux took to social media and stated that the injury wasn’t serious. The status of the other players injured in the preseason matchup are currently unknown.
