Episode #2 OJ: Made in America

I watched the second episode of the OJ: Made in America documentary Tuesday night.  Much of it was watching the transformation of OJ before his friends, family and LAPD become more violent with Nicole.  Most people ignored that and even Nicole, who left him a couple of times, ended up returning before one last OJ eruption ended their relationship.

The episode also showed the simmering tension growing in the African-American community following verdicts/penalties from three specific cases.  Two of which I never heard of.   Eula Love was shot & killed by the LAPD and a Korean grocer, shot and killed a black teenager.   The Love murder was found to be a justifiable homicide while the Korean grocer was found guilty, but only sentenced to probation.

Of course the Rodney King case received national attention and South Central LA exploded once the LAPD was cleared in that case.
