Fournette, McGuire on Doak Walker Watch List

Cajuns running back Elijah McGuire and LSU’s Leonard Fournette are two of the 69 running back named to the 2015 Doak Walker Award Watch List.

The Doak Walker Award is for the nation’s premier running back.

McGuire, the 2014 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year, racked up 1,264 yards rushing with seven touchdowns last season. The junior running back also had 468 yards and two touchdowns in 2014.

Fournette, a New Orleans native, amassed 1,034 yards and 10 touchdowns in his only his freshman season.
