Less than a week after linebacker Junior Galette was officially released from his contract with the New Orleans Saints, Galette is headed to the Washington Redskins.
The five-year veteran has signed a one-year league minimum with the NFC East team.
Galette’s agent Alvin Keels tweeted out on Friday concerning the signing saying that “Junior is grateful for the second chance he is being afforded by the Redskins and is looking forward to not only producing on the field but also to display the veteran leadership in the locker room latest will help lead the Skins in a quest for a Super Bowl run.”
Galette was released by the New Orleans Saints on Monday. The Saints will be taking on the Redskins on the road on November 15th.
