New Orleans Saints work out three cornerbacks

UPDATED: Another cornerback that the New Orleans Saints was undrafted rookie Travis Manning. Manning was signed on Thursday to help fill a void in the cornerback position due to injuries. Himself and Brian Dixon are former teammates

The New Orleans Saints worked out three cornerbacks on Thursday according to head coach Sean Payton.

There is a chance that the Saints could add a cornerback and perhaps a tight end due to several injuries at these positions.

One of the corners trying out is former New England Patriot Alfonzo Dennard. Dennard has been with the Patriots since being drafted by the team since 2012 out of Nebraska.

The Saints are missing rookie cornerbacks P.J. Williams and Damian Swann. Veteran Keenan Lewis was also absent, but may be returning to the team as early as Friday according to Payton.

The Saints are also suffering at the tight end position. The team currently has only two healthy players at the position after rookie Jack Tabb suffered an apparent knee injury on Thursday according to Payton.

Josh Hill and Kevin Brock are also out, but Brock seems close to returning.
