The Saints injury list keeps getting larger.
Austin Brown, who had signed on with the Saints on Monday, suffered an apparent knee injury one hour into his first practice with the team.
Brown injury was serious enough to require an air cast and needed to be carted off the field.
The Saints will fill the hole with defensive tackle David Hunter according to a league source. Hunter had tried out earlier in the week before Brown was ultimately signed.
Tight end Kevin Brock and safety Kenny Vaccaro also left practice early, but the injuries don’t seem serious.
