With the 8th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State wide receiver.

Tyson is a 6’2″, 200 lb pass catcher who spent four total years in college; two with Colorado and the other two in Arizona State. In his freshman season with the Buffaloes, her recorded 470 yards on 22 receptions for four touchdowns.

The 21-year-old entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal after the 2023 season and took his talents to Arizona State. With the Sun Devils, Tyson put up an 1,100 yard, 10 touchdown season on 75 catches. He followed that productive season by putting up 61 catches for 711 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025.

His standout performance the last two seasons earned him 2024 All-Big 12 First Team honors, 2025 All-Big 12 First Team honors, along with 2025 AP All-American Third Team recognition.

Tyson has a documented injury history, dealing with nagging erious hamstring strains in both legs for five months, which caused him to miss games, including three late in the 2025 season. In 2024, he suffered a broken collarbone that caused him to miss the final two games, including the Sun Devils’ College Football Playoff appearances. Back in his freshman year, Tyson suffered a major injury, tearing his ACL, MCL, and PCL in his left knee. This required significant reconstructive surgery and sidelined him for the remainder of that season and all of 2023.
