The Jordy Hultberg Show: Henry Hayes – Kobe’s Swan Song & GSW #73

Posted by on April 14, 2016 in Featured, Latest News, The Jordy Hultberg Show

Henry Hayes joined Jordy to try and attempt to put into words exactly what happened in the NBA last night. They cover Kobe and his historic 60 point game, while leading the Lakers to a win over the Jazz, in the final game of his career. They talk about what could have led to Kobe recreating the magic for one last time on the hardwood. Was this the greatest ride off into the sunset moment in sports history?

Although Kobe stole the stage, there was certainly another record that was broken last night that could not be ignored. After a full NBA season the Golden State Warriors found themselves one win away from passing the 1996 Bulls with the best single season record of all time. After the Warriors had finished their blowout of the Grizzlies it started to sink in that this may just be the greatest basketball team of all time. Jordy and Henry listen to some of the highlights and postgame sound to try and get some type of feeling for just how historic this moment was as well.

Between Kobe and GSW the NBA had their crowing moment last night, with both of the highest attractions delivering more than could have ever been expected.
