Cody’s ‘Gotta Choose em All’ Picks of the Week!

Posted by codychustz on October 21, 2016 in Latest News

I Wanna be the Very Best… At Picking Scores… Like No One Ever Was!

Take a trip with me into a place that can only be described as ‘unsettling’ to those with a weak constitution.  We’re going elbow deep into this weekends action of college and professional football, well the Louisiana teams at least; courtesy of the random ramblings formed by the mind of me, Cody Chustz.  Follow along as I take you around, over, and deep inside the Cajuns, Tigers, and Saints.

— I’ll start with the game involving the team closest to home for me, that being, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.  The Cajuns travel to Texas State this weekend in a match up of two (2-4) teams.  On paper you would expect the Cajuns to handle business against the Bobcats, but this season hasn’t exactly been anything like we expected.  UL being the road team in this contest worries me more than any other aspect. I believe they match up well with Texas State, but can the Cajuns handle to road environment?  I say, Y-E-S… YES! The Ragin’ Cajuns… ‘I Choose You’… To finish on top the Texas State Bobcats, with a messy win, 24-21.

— I’m so deep inside college football right now that I have to discuss the LSU Tigers and Ole Miss Rebels game in Baton Rouge, on a Louisiana Saturday Night.  Two ranked, albeit lowly, teams will take the field at Tiger Stadium in a game where all signs point to an epic showdown.  LSU has clearly found new motivation since Coach O took over the team.  Yes Ole Miss is ranked slightly higher than LSU, 23rd and 25th respectively, but the combination of Leonard Fournette returning, Derrius Guice being on a tear lately, and it being a home game for the Tigers spells out to me a big victory for LSU. The defense will continue to shine and play stellar, while the offense will keep improving with every snap of the ball.  LSU TIGERS…  ‘I Choose You’… To separate from Ole Miss late in the game, with a final score of LSU – 38 and Ole Miss – 24.

— Now that I have well worn out college football, I’ll slide into the NFL next; where we forget about the amateur stuff and deal only with professionals.  Drew Brees and the Saints are currently gripping tightly, trying desperately, to stay on top of the wave of confidence and momentum from the last 2 games that has all of Who Dat Nation feeling great, just great. The Chiefs are not world beaters, by any means, but they are at home and will look to take advantage of the Saints decimated and depleted secondary.  Do you think the Saints D can keep them in the game this Sunday against the Chiefs??? IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!!! NOLA Saints…. ‘I Choose You’… To pick up the win on the road over the Chiefs; and start a winning streak with their 3rd victory in a row.  The Saints will win Sunday 41 – 38…. And that’s the bottom line, because Cody Chustz took a wild guess at it!
