Florida Holds Off LSU With Goal Line Stand

Posted by davidschultz on November 19, 2016 in Featured, Latest News

LSU was kept out of the end zone on 3rd & 4th downs from the 1 yard line as Florida defeated the Tigers 16-10.

With just 3:24 remaining, the Tigers drove the length of the field, including converting a 4th & 10, that set up LSU inside the Florida 20.  Tigers had 1st & goal from the Gators 7 yard line, but ran it four consecutive times.  Apparently on the final play of the game, Darius Guice ran the wrong way, although I’m not sure that would’ve made a difference.

LSU now 6-4 and will play Texas A&M Thanksgiving Night.  You can hear all of the action beginning with the pregame show at 4:30 on Acadiana’s Sports Station, 1037 The Game
