The Fave 5: My Nightmare is Your Dream Come True

Posted by alanmichael on December 12, 2016 in Featured

****WARNING: The Fave 5 is NSFW and down right disturbing! Do not read unless you are HYPE!****

5. The Moonwalk

Odell Beckham Jr. was able to outrun the entire Cowboy defense but even more impressive than that was his touchdown celebration tribute to the King of Pop, and in cleats no less! OBJ is bad. He is bad. You know it and the whole world has to answer right now just to tell you once again; he’s bad.

4. The Stroll In

It’s the most chill way to score a touchdown and it usually means you have either completely fooled the defense or have burnt them so badly that no one is near you. DeSean Jackson is the best at it because usually any touchdown he scores is on a play where he toasted a corner in zero coverage. He and the Falcons Taylor Gabriel had walk in touchdowns in Week 14, but neither compared to Lev Bell walking into the end zone in Buffalo behind a blocker who was demolishing his man. Fullback Rosey Nix and the Steeler offensive line bullied the Bills so bad on the goal line that Bell was able to walk into the end zone with opponents laid to waste on the ground all around him.

298 Total Yards.
42 Touches.
3 TDs.

@L_Bell26 has a historic game! https://t.co/AjtXVC55sx

3. Doo Ho Choi

The 25 year old Korean Super Boy lost to top Featherweight contender Cub Swanson at UFC 206 on Saturday in the Fight of the Year. Cub Swanson is one of the most courageous and fun fighters to watch and his performance was inspiring as well, but the Korean Super Boy won the hearts of the UFC UniverseTM by absorbing an insane amount of punishment while continuing to fight and land shots with unparalleled precision. Swanson threw overhand rights, spinning back fists, and cartwheel kicks and they all landed hard, but the Korean Super Boy kept moving forward and would not let up with his surgeon-like approach to bashing a man’s face in. Almost as good as his performance, after the fight, Doo Ho Choi proclaimed, “I will never lose again.”

2. Obstacles

A plethora of hurdles sprang up this week in the NFL for a bunch of playoff bound teams. Matt Stafford will have to try to lead the Lions to a division title with a jacked up thumb, Aaron Rodgers tweaked his calf, and Ryan Tannehill is out with a knee injury severely handicapping Miami’s playoff push. You also can’t count out the QB controversy in Big D! Field conditions are getting worse and the unexpected is going to happen from here on out. There are bad teams in the NFL, but there are no good teams. What you might think is a good team is just a team that deals with obstacles better than others. That is what this league is all about; not being good, but being a survivor.

1. Matt Canada

My personal nightmare is a dream come true for LSU fans. With Lane Kiffin gone to FAU and Matt Canada emerging as a serious candidate as LSU’s next offensive coordinator, Coach O looks like he is going to live up to his promise of hiring the best O.C. in the country. #creativerunning
