The teams may be divided in 2017, but the result for Louisiana Ragin Cajuns baseball remains the same.
The Cajuns were picked by the Sun Belt conference coaches unanimously to win the Sun Belt Conference’s West Division in the poll that was released on Wednesday. This is the first year that the conference will have divisions.
As it pertains to the East Division of the Sun Belt, the defending national champions Coastal Carolina were projected to win the division with 10 first place votes.
The Cajuns will start off the season on February 17th in Hammond when they take on Southeastern Louisiana with first pitch set for 6 pm.
