5. Fear
After her win on Saturday night, Germaine de Randamie was crowned the first ever Women’s Featherweight Champion of the UFC. What a historic night! During her victory interview with Joe Rogan, GDR was asked about a potential fight with the infamous Cris Cyborg. GDR quickly let everyone know that she needs to get hand surgery before she fights anyone because she tore some ligaments in a previous fight…..two years ago! I don’t blame GDR for being scared of Cyborg. Actually, I commend her for being of sound enough mind to not jump into things immediately after the biggest win of her career.
4. Grabbin’ a Pair
Buddy Hield was ejected from Sunday night’s game against the Kings for getting a handful of DeMarcus Cousins’ grapefruits. While this is not the most ethical maneuver, it should make Pelicans fans happy that their young guard is so hungry for victory that he is willing to grab a pair.
3. Mark Ingram
While he left a lot to be desired on as one of my top fantasy football running backs this past season, Mark Ingram will always be one of my favorite players because of his hot MMA takes on twitter and because he is a BIG SHOOTER. Ingram was hunting in Tennessee this weekend and he got himself a dandy! A big ole swine! A 600 pounder! Before he took his pig sticker to the boar, Mark Ingram took a picture with his prized hog and there is only one word to describe it…..GLORIOUS!

2. The Spider
Sure he probably didn’t land as many punches or kicks, and no he did not really have control of the action for most of the fight, but the fact of the matter is Anderson Silva went into the fight with Derek Brunson the better man, and because Brunson showed him too much respect, Silva left the better man and the victor. Fight is his life. Fight is his heart. Long live the Spider!
