Just after 7 am on Tuesday morning the NCAA released the schedules for all Super Regional’s around the country. The LSU Tigers will take on former hitting coach Andy Cannizaro and his Mississippi State Bulldogs in the 2017 Baton Rouge Super Regional. The Tigers and Bulldogs begin their series on Saturday, June 10th at 8 pm, with Game 2 set for 8 pm on Sunday, June 11th. If it takes the 2 SEC foes all 3 games to decide who will be moving on to the College World Series in Omaha, LSU and the Mississippi State will play the 3rd and final game of the Baton Rouge Super Regional on Monday, June 12th. Start time for the 3rd if necessary game is still TBD.
