The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns are right in the middle of the pack according to the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Preseason Football Poll.
The poll, which was released by the conference on Thursday had the Cajuns projected to finish fifth overall after ending last season 6-7 overall and 5-3 in Sun Belt play.
Defending SBC co-champion Appalachian State was picked to finish first for the second straight year, earning seven first place votes.
