Few former LSU players over the last 20 years are as beloved by the purple-and-gold fan base as Jacob Hester.
The Shreveport native helped carry the Tigers to an extremely memorable 2007 home win over Tim Tebow and Florida, and then ultimately the program’s third national championship.
On Tuesday he joined Bumper to Bumper Sports, telling host Ben Love that although he’s forever a fan of Les Miles – even naming a child after The Hat – he has high hopes for the Ed Orgeron Era in Baton Rouge.
Hester also showed insight into what Fall Camp is like for both freshmen and veterans, reflected on the death of fullbacks at LSU under new coordinator Matt Canada and even sounded off on playing with a Hall of Famer in LaDainian Tomlinson.
