LSU BYU

The venue for LSU’s season opener on Saturday against BYU has been decided. Both teams will now face off on Saturday, September 2nd in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Kickoff will remain the same for the season opener for the LSU Tigers. “Over the past 72 hours, we have been in constant contact with all entities involved, including our partners at the Lone Star Sports & Entertainment, the SEC, and both institutions.” ESPN senior vice president of college sports programming and events Pete Derzis said on Monday afternoon.

The Advocare Texas Kickoff was relocated due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey to Houston and the surrounding areas.
