With 2 minutes to go, leading 31-26 and facing a 4th & 2, Saints Head Coach Sean Payton consulted his quarterback Drew Brees whether they should punt or go for it. While you may question the play call (especially on 3rd down), Payton and Brees’ decision to go for it was 100% the right thing to do.
