There weren’t as many close contests this week as we’ve seen earlier in the year.
Week seven of the high school football season in the Acadiana area saw several blowouts.
The St. Thomas More Cougars bounced back from their back-to-back losses to Catholic – B.R. and Westgate with a 38-13 win over Teurlings Catholic. The Cougars improved to an overall record of 5-2 behind the performance from defensive back Dominic Zepherin, who had three interceptions. STM will travel to Northside next week.

They are 3-1 at home and a perfect 4-0 on the road.
