The COVID-19 Crisis has put out of people out of work. The service and hospitality industry is getting hit pretty hard with restaurants having to downsize to a smaller staff. In an effort to help displaced workers, ABACUS is providing hot meals for lunch. ABACUS has partnered with MAISON TITLE to help those in need.

ABACUS will be offering meals Monday through Friday from noon to 1:00 pm. There will be 50 plate lunches available for $1 a plate. The lunches will be served curbside. No need to get out of your vehicle. ABACUS employees will come up to your vehicle and hand you the plate through your window. ABACUS is located at 530 West Pinhook in Lafayette near the Oil Center.

If any other local business or organization wants to help out with this effort to feed displaced workers, please contact Robert Fruge at 337-945-7463. Anything helps! Businesses are welcome to contribute to this cause financially or even with materials.
