Be sure to join us for Shark Frenzy 2020! It is a virtual fundraiser. You can support the Southside Band and Football program from the comfort of your own home. The online auction starts Friday, August 14, and ends Sunday, August 16. Bidding opens up at 7:00 pm on Friday and closes 7:00 pm Sunday. Register now to bid on items. It’s free to register. The deadline to register as a bidder is Thursday, August 13th. After registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the schedule, your assigned bidder number, and link access to the auction via ClickBid. You will be able to view auction items from your device.
Viewers will have a 48-hour window to bid on items. A Facebook live stream will allow users to preview items and watch competitions between coaches and band staff. The video will also recognize anyone supporters and donators of the fundraiser. Viewers will also get to buy raffle items.
Winners will pick up items on Monday, August 17th at Southside High School in the Bus Loop between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
The organizers of Shark Frenzy have decided to switch fundraiser into a virtual event because of the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the COVID-19 took hold of the world, there has not been much of an opportunity for fundraisers. Funds are still needed for Southside’s Band and Football program. These funds cover travel expenses, equipment, instruments, helmets, shoulder pads, and more!
