The annual LSU-Alabama game might not happen this week.

According to ESPN, the LSU Tigers have multiple players in quarantine following COVID-19 testing.

Head coach Ed Orgeron said on Monday multiple starters will be unavailable for Saturday’s game against Alabama if it is played.

A majority of LSU’s players will be out due to contact tracing, while some tested positive for COVID-19, according to the report.

“LSU’s outbreak stems from a party around Halloween,” according to SI Now’s Ross Dellenger.

LSU will be missing depth at quarterback as well as members on the defense and special teams.

According to the SEC’s COVID-19 protocol, any person who tests positive must quarantine for 10 days.

It’s possible the game against Alabama cannot be rescheduled because LSU’s open date has been already filled with a rescheduled game against Florida on Dec. 12.
