Conor McGregor signed a deal on Thursday to fight Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier on Jan. 23.
The fight will be the main event of UFC 257.
Poirier signed his fight agreement last week. The fight will be contested at 155 pounds, according to ESPN.
No location for the fight has been finalized.
Poirier’s last fight ended with an unanimous win over Dan Hooker back in June. McGregor’s last fight was back on Jan. 18. He defeated Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds via TKO.
The last time McGregor and Poirier fought was back in 2014. McGregor defeated Poirier with a first-round TKO.
