The University of Louisiana men’s basketball team will have to wait once again to start their season.
Saturday’s contest between the Ragin’ Cajuns and Loyola of New Orleans has been canceled due to COVID-19 positive tests and contact tracing within Loyola’s program.
The Ragin’ Cajuns are scheduled to start their season on the road Wednesday, Dec. 2 against New Orleans. Louisiana will open their home schedule Dec. 8 against LSU Alexandria.
Louisiana was originally scheduled to open their season on Nov. 25 against Xavier University of Louisiana. That game was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns within Xavier’s program.
