The LSU Tigers football program has added former XFL position coach Justin Poindexter as a defensive analyst, according to The Athletic.
Poindexter was recently with the Tampa Bay Vipers. He spent time as a position coach with the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts.
Poindexter also worked at Northwestern and Southern.
The LSU Tigers hired a new defensive coordinator after their 2020 season ended. The Tigers named Daronte Jones as the program’s defensive coordinator and Poindexter will now work with Jones on the defensive staff.
