LB Jabril Cox, 4th Round by the Dallas Cowboys (115th overall)

The Dallas Cowboys have locked down another linebacker with their fourth-round pick in LSU linebacker Jabril Cox.

The former North Dakota State standout started all 10 games for the purple and gold, intercepting three passes, returning one for a score, while making 58 tackles, 6.5 for loss, and breaking up five passes.

DT Tyler Shelvin, Fourth Round (122nd Overall)

The Cincinnati Bengals added another former LSU Tiger to their ranks. The Lafayette, Louisiana native was taken with the Bengals second pick in the fourth round.

The former five-star recruit began realizing his potential in the Tigers’ national title run, starting 14 of 15 games and recording 39 tackles, three for losses, and two pass breakups. Shelvin opted out of the 2020 season.

WR Racey McMath, Sixth Round by Tennessee Titans

The Titans found a potential diamond in the rough at wide receiver in Racey McMath.

The New Orleans native took on more of a starting role in 2020, beginning the first six games of the season with 14 receptions, 195 yards, and one touchdown before a hamstring injury ended his season.

DB JaCoby Stevens, Sixth Round, 224th Overall (Philadelphia Eagles)

The fourth LSU Tiger to be taken during the final day of the NFL Draft was JaCoby Stevens, who will be joining several other Louisiana-bred players.

Stevens started all 10 games for the Bayou Bengals in 2020, tying for the team lead with 63 tackles, six for loss, and three sacks. The Tennessee native also broke up four passes and tying for third in the FBS with three fumble recoveries.

CB Kary Vincent Jr., Seventh Round, 237th Overall (Denver Broncos)

The seventh round of the NFL Draft saw another Tiger get taken in Kary Vincent Jr., who was selected by the Denver Broncos.

Vincent Jr. played an important role in LSU’s national title run in 2019, intercepting four passes and breaking up nine (also posting 47 tackles, two for loss) while starting nine of 15 contests and opted out of the 2020 season.
