The Rose Parade in Pasadena is a long-standing tradition, one of the most famous in the US. This year’s 134th event will feature the 51st Louisiana Strawberry Queen.

When the Parade rolls, on January 2nd, Kristin Drozd will be onboard the Louisiana “Feed Your Soul Float.” Carla Tate, director of the Tangipahoa Parish Convention and Visitor’s Bureau told the Advocate, “We were beyond excited that our Strawberry Queen was invited to be on this year’s Rose Bowl Float.”

Drozd said, “I am looking forward to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I’ll be inviting everyone to Ponchatoula and Tangipahoa Parish for the best strawberries and the best festival in the country.” The float will have a riverboat motif.
