Taylor Moore and Wilson Furr are tied for the lead at the 2024 Texas Children’s Huston Open with a score of 6-under par after shooting 64 on the day at Memorial Park.

Furr, the rookie, had a great start to the weekend after making just one cut in his previous eight starts. His last five holes of the day had him at 4-under to put him in the lead going into the second round.

Moore, the Texas native, posted an eagle and five birdies in his round to put him at the top of the leaderboard and has finished par or better in all nine of his starts during the season.

Davis Riley, Joe Highsmith, and World #1 Scottie Scheffler all are one stroke behind at 5-under par.

Tee times for Friday include:

7:53: Wyndham Clark, Tony Finau, Si Woo Kim

8:59: co-leader Wilson Furr

12:53: Scottie Scheffler, Will Zalatoris, co-leader Taylor Moore
