The New Orleans Saints added depth at two offensive positions on Friday.

New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced that the franchise has agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown and quarterback Kellen Mond.

The 6-foot-5, 214-pound St. Brown was originally selected in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.

In six seasons with the Packers (2018-21) and the Chicago Bears (2022-23), St. Brown has appeared in 60 regular season games with 28 starts and has career totals of 63 receptions for 928 yards with two touchdowns. St. Brown has also rushed 11 times for 80 yards, recorded seven special teams tackles, and returned a kickoff for 17 yards.

St. Brown was a star at Notre Dame as he played in 32 games with 25 starts in three seasons with the Fighting Irish and pulled down 92 receptions for 1,484 yards and 13 touchdowns.

The 6-foot-3, 212-pound Mond was selected in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings.

He served as a backup in Minnesota in 2021 and then again with the Cleveland Browns in 2022, completing two of three passes for five yards in 2021 and then 42-of-74 passes for 390 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions and carrying six times for 26 yards for the Browns in the 2023 preseason. Mond spent the last 12 weeks of the 2023 season on the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts.

Mond was a four-year starter at Texas A&M where he completed 801-of-1,358 passes for 9,661 yards with 71 touchdowns to only 27 interceptions. He also carried 438 times for 1,609 yards with 22 touchdowns. He finished his career as the Aggies’ total offense (11,269 yards), passing yardage, passing touchdowns, and completions leader.
