LSU Gymnastics captures first National Title

For the first time in program history, the LSU Tigers gymnastics team has won the national championship.

Aleah Finnegan sealed the deal with a dominant 9.95 on the balance beam to propel the Tigers to their first title in 33 appearances.

LSU (198.225) defeated California (197.850), Utah (197.800), and Florida (197.4375) to lift the trophy. The Tigers broke the beam scoring record with each participant scoring at least a 9.95.
