There is no shortage of talented football players who hail from Southwest Louisiana who are seizing opportunities in the National Football League. Here is a brief look at how former area prep stars from the 3-3-7 fared this past weekend in the NFL. The area players are listed in alphabetical order by last name.

TREY AMOS
POSITION:
CB
PRO TEAM: WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
HIGH SCHOOL: CATHOLIC HIGH-NEW IBERIA
WEEK 13 RECAP: The former Panthers star did not play in the loss to Denver as he is on IR with a fractured fibula. SEASON STATS: 32 tackles (19 solo), 6 pass deflections, 1 TFL.
NEXT UP: Sunday vs. Minnesota

JACK BECH
POSITION:
WR
PRO TEAM: LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
HIGH SCHOOL: ST. THOMAS MORE
WEEK 13 RECAP: The former Cougar star recorded two receptions for 22 yards in a 31-14 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
SEASON STATS: 10 receptions, 114 yards.
NEXT UP: Sunday vs. Denver

KAYSHON BOUTTE

PRO TEAM: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
HIGH SCHOOL: WESTGATE
WEEK 13 RECAP: The former Tiger star hauled in four receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown in a 33-15 win over the New York Giants.
SEASON STATS: 29 receptions, 481 yards, 6 TD.

KEON COLEMAN

PRO TEAM: BUFFALO BILLS
HIGH SCHOOL:
OPELOUSAS CATHOLIC
WEEK 13 RECAP: After being a healthy scratch for back-to-back weeks, Coleman returned to the lineup and caught two passes for nine yards and one touchdown in a win over Pittsburgh.
SEASON STATS: 34 receptions, 339 yards, 4 TD.
NEXT UP: Sunday vs. Cincinnati

TRAVIS ETIENNE

RB
PRO TEAM: JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
HIGH SCHOOL: JENNINGS
WEEK 13 RECAP: The former Bulldog star had 12 carries for 28 yards and one reception for 13 yards in a 25-3 win over Tennessee.
SEASON STATS: 181 carries, 843 yards, 5 TD, 25 receptions, 173 yards, 2 TD.
NEXT UP: Sunday vs. Indianapolis

TREVOR ETIENNE

RB
PRO TEAM: CAROLINA PANTHERS
HIGH SCHOOL: JENNINGS
WEEK 13 RECAP: Etienne had one reception for four yards, one punt return for 15 yards, and four kick returns for 89 yards in a big win over the Los Angeles Rams.
SEASON STATS: 20 carries, 94 yards, 2 receptions, 9 yards, 15 punt returns for 111 yards, and 26 kick returns for 617 yards.
