The Ragin Cajuns basketball team started the 2015-16 season with a dominating victory over the Louisiana College by the score of 108-68.
The Cajuns never let go of the lead after getting it in the opening minutes of the game thanks to a layup by Shawn Long.
But it was Devonta Walker who led the way for the Cajuns with 17 points and 11 boards on the night.
Kasey Shepherd was right behind Walker with 16 points, two assists, and two steals.
Anthony Gaines led the way for the Wildcats with 12 points, four boards, and two steals.
The Cajuns (1-0) will now travel to Miami to take on the Hurricanes on Monday, November 16th with tipoff set for 6 pm.
