With the 42nd pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select Christen Miller, Georgia defensive tackle.
Miller spent all four years in college in Athens, is 6′ 3 3/4″ tall, and weighs 321 lbs. His other measurements include 33″ arms and 10″ hands. The former Bulldog is known as a run-stuffing interior defensive lineman. He didn’t see much action in his freshman year, but received a steady increase in playing time in the following seasons.
In 2023, Miller played in 13 games, recording 14 tackles and a sack, and four tackles for loss, including one in the SEC Championship against Alabama. In the next two seasons, the redshirt junior became a more consistent piece on defense, starting in 24 out of his final 26 college games.
Between 2024 and 2025, Miller racked up 50 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and a pass breakup. He was also named to the AP First Team All-SEC. Going into last season, Miller was named preseason All-SEC First Team by the SEC Media and the SEC Coaches, picked to the preseason All-SEC Second Team by Athlon and Pick Six Previews, and named to the preseason watchlist for the Outland Trophy, the Bednarik Award, and the Senior Bowl Top 300.
Then, in the third round, the Black and Gold used the 73rd overall pick on Georgia tight end, Oscar Delp—the second Bulldog of the day.
Delp is 6′ 4 7/8″ and weighs 245 lbs. His arm length is 31 5/8″, and his hands are 9 1/2″. The 22-year-old’s toughness and technique will help the Saints in the run game, and he works better on the move in the passing game than sitting still on routes. Delp was also reportedly training together with Saints first-round pick, Jordyn Tyson, in Arizona in the months leading up to the draft.
Much like Miller, Delp was with Georgia all four years of college, waiting his turn in his freshman season before earning a larger role. He finished 2022 with five catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. After that, the Cummnings, Georgia native started in 20 out of 24 games over the next two seasons, recording 45 receptions for 532 yards and reaching paydirt seven times. Delp scored three times in 2023 and four times in 2024
His senior season featured him playing and starting in all 14 games and concluded with 20 catches, 261 yards, and a touchdown. Delp’s accomplishments include being on the 2024 John Mackey Award Watch List and the 2024 Senior Bowl Watch List.
