The Ragin Cajuns bounced back from a road loss last week against the UL Monroe Warhawks with a 97-64 win over McNeese State (1-6).

The Cajuns and the Cowboys started out as a close matchup, but a 17-2 run towards the end of the first half with some help from Shawn Long gave UL a big lead that was too much for McNeese State to come back from.

Long led the way for the Cajuns with a fantastic game. The senior forward racked up 24 points, 11 boards, two assists, one steal, and three blocks on the night.

Jay Hedgeman came off the bench for the Cajuns and had 13 points, four boards, three assists, and two steals.

Adrian Brown was the sole player from McNeese State in double digits with 11 points, three boards, and one steal.

The Cajuns (3-3, 0-1 Sun Belt) will have a couple days off before heading to Ruston to take on Louisiana Tech (7-1) on Saturday December 12th with tipoff set for 12 pm.
