LSU rolls over American 79-51

The LSU Basketball team took advantage of the American Eagles (2-9) 22 turnovers to run away with a 79-51 win.

After a back-and-forth start to the first half, the Tigers began to pull away late with a 12-5 run to give the Tigers a 36-31 lead heading into the locker room.

LSU continued to pull away with an early 13-0 in the second half and capitalizing on the second half turnovers to put the game out of reach.

Ben Simmons led the way for the Tigers with 23 points, six boards, six assists, three steals, and one block on the night. Craig Victor was behind the freshman phenom with 14 points, five boards, two assists, three steals, and two blocks.

Jesse Reed led the Eagles with 12 points, three boards, two assists, and one steal on the night.

The Tigers (7-4) will end 2015 in the PMAC against Wake Forest (8-3) on December 29th with tipoff set for 6 pm.
