On Friday’s edition of Bumper to Bumper Sports, host Ben Love had a great conversation with first-year Breaux Bridge football head coach Terry Martin.
The duo primarily discussed how the Tigers are shaping up for this fall, but Love and Martin ended the segment looking ahead to the potential of a Louisiana landscape even more divided when it comes to high school football.
Breaux Bridge is set, again, to play Notre Dame and Teurlings Catholic this season. If a rival institution to the LHSAA emerges in the future, those local games with plenty of appeal would likely go by the wayside.
What does Martin think about that? And how is that same outlook affecting the way local coaches schedule into the future?
