The Reese’s Senior Bowl announced their 2024 Midseason All-American team and there were plenty of Louisiana ties on the list.
TCU wide receiver Jack Bech, Ole Miss wide receiver Tre Harris, and LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell were all represented for their efforts in the first half of the college football season.
Bech attended St. Thomas More High School in Lafayette before committing to play for the LSU Tigers. H had almost 700 receiving yads over two seasons with LSU before transferring to TCU. This season with the Horned Frogs, he already has 702 yards with seven touchdowns.
Harris starred for Comeaux High School in Lafayette before deciding to play collegiately at Louisiana Tech. He had over 1500 yards and 14 touchdowns as a Bulldog before transferring to Ole Miss. As a Rebel, he had just under 1000 yards in his first full season. He was a preseason All-SEC selection this year and has totaled 885 yards and five touchdowns already to lead the Rebel offense this season.
Campbell played at Neville High School in Monroe before attending LSU. As a Tiger, he has become a mainstay on the offensive line, starting 26 games over his first two seasons. As a sophomore, he was an All-SEC performer and entered this season as a preseason All-SEC selection and a projected first round NFL draft pick.
