– Why did Jared Cook decide to join the Saints?
When Cook was posed this question early in the conference call he was quick to respond with three major reasons he joined the New Orleans franchise. Cook stated: the location of the team, Drew Brees, and the offensive scheme as the biggest reasons he wanted to be a Saint. He trusted the free agency process, and claimed he didn’t really ask any questions to the team about why the signing was delayed. Cook did reveal that “about five other teams.” were showing interest in him.
