Easter weekend usually brings sellers their biggest volume of the year. Prices vary around the state. There’s a smartphone app available that compares prices from more than 1,000 sellers. It’s called, appropriately enough, the Crawfish App.
The average price in Acadiana is about $5.81. It’s about the same in Lake Charles. Prices in Baton Rouge are slightly lower, $4.84 on average. The good news…Prices are about 20 cents per pound lower than last year.
