The Ragin’ Cajuns football team now has three players on the current roster that have earned and accepted invitations to professional football showcases. UL wide receiver Ja’Marcus Bradley was the latest to join a growing group on Monday when he accepted an invite to play in the East West Shrine Bowl which will be held on January 18 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Bradley leads the Cajuns in 4 receiving categories including receptions (36), receiving yards (510), receiving touchdowns (5), and receiving yards per game average (56.67).
UL cornerback Michael Jacquet III on Friday accepted an invite to take part in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on January 18 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California.
The 6-foot-2, 201-pound Jacquet, who is in his second season playing cornerback after starting out as a wide receiver, has 30 tackles, 1 sack, 2 interceptions, and 3 pass breakups on the season.
A week ago Tuesday, UL offensive lineman Robert Hunt was selected to take part in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on January 25 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.
The 6-foot-5, 322-pound Hunt has already been selected as a Mid-season Second Team All-American by Pro Football Focus, and earned All-Sun Belt Second Team honors in 2018.
