Firefighters from the Broussard Fire Department are holding a blood drive to support fellow firefighter, Alex Bourque, at Broussard City Hall on Wednesday, January 26 from 3:00 pm to 8:00pm. Broussard City Hall is located at 310 E. Main Street.
Alex Bourque has been battling cancer since last year. Since his diagnosis, the father of two, has had to endure lots of different treatments and surgeries. The blood drive will help offset some of his medical expenses.
The blood drive will also help replenish the local blood supply.
