Butcher AC and Heating is teaming up with Ashbury United Methodist Church to help the victims of Hurricane Laura. They are collecting supplies today (Wednesday, September 2) and tomorrow (Thursday, September 3) until 3 pm. There will be an easy access tent in the parking of the church that allows you to drop off your donations.
The supplies collected will be delivered to disaster areas and distributed to hurricane victims. Anything from money to dry goods will be accepted. Some items especially needed are baby food, diapers, water, generators, tarps, 12 penny nails, furring strips, box fans, gas cans, flat blade shovels, extension ladders, extension cords, flat bars, crowbars, and rakes.
Donations will continue to be accepted all week and during the coming months from 8 am to noon in the Spiritwind Courtyard at Asbury United Methodist Church for those affected by Hurricane Laura. The church is located at 101 Live Oak Blvd, Lafayette, Louisiana.
If you have any questions, contact the Asbury United Methodist Church at 337-984-4211 or visit ButcherAC.com for a list of items needed.
