After starting a pedestrian 3 of 9 from the floor in the 2nd half, the Arkansas State Red Wolves could not miss Monday night in the Cajundome. They hit their next 13 straight shots and finished the second half making 16 of the last 18 en route to a 88-69 victory over the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
Cajuns guard Frank Bartley led Louisiana in scoring for the second straight game with 18 points while Jerekius Davis poured in 14 and grabbed 9 rebounds making his second consecutive start.
Louisiana hits the road for a pair of games in Georgia with Georgia State first up Saturday night.
