The Cajuns basketball squad fell victim to a second half rally by Louisiana Tech to lose a tough one on the road by the score of 91-79.
The Ragin Cajuns started out strong with an early 7-0 lead, but the Bulldogs were able to make it only a four point lead for the Cajuns heading into the locker room.
The Cajuns started out strong again in the second half, but LA Tech pulled away with a 14-4 run late in regulation to give the Bulldogs their 35th straight home win.
Alex Hamilton led the way for the Bulldogs with 30 points, 11 boards, eight assists, three steals, and one block on the afternoon. Erik McCree was right behind Hamilton with 25 points, six boards, one assist, and one steal.
Kasey Shepherd came off the bench and led the Cajuns with 22 points, two boards, two assists, and two steals.
The Cajuns (3-4) will head over to the west coast to continue their road trip to take on UCLA (6-3) on December 15th with tipoff scheduled 8 pm CST.
