The Ragin Cajuns struggled Wednesday night against McNeese State (4-4), losing by the score of 7-2.

The Cowboys got on the board first off a sac fly by Matt Gallier followed by a fielding error by the Cajuns leading to another run scoring to make it 2-0.

The Cajuns fielding errors continued to haunt them in the bottom of the third when the Cowboys got another run on the board.

The Cajuns finally got on the board with an RBI single in the top of the 6th by Trosclair to cut the lead to 3-1.

The Cowboys put things away with a four run bottom of the eighth that was highlighted by a two-run triple by Cameron Toole.

Evan Guillory (0-2) was credited with the loss allowing three runs off of two hits, walking two, and striking out six in five innings of work.

The Cajuns (5-4) will return to the Tigue for a three-game series against Sacred Heart (0-3) starting on Friday with first pitch set for 6 pm.
