The Ragin Cajuns only had one error on Saturday afternoon, but it was enough to give the Troy Trojans (10-7, 1-1 SBC) the win by the score of 4-1.
Hunter Kasuls got the Cajuns on the board first in the top of the third with an RBI single to put them up 1-0.
The Trojans got the lead in the bottom of the third with Austin Hulsey getting on base due to a throwing error and it led to Cameron Sanders scoring on the error and Brandon Lockridge reached home.
Troy added to the score in the bottom of the 4th with a two-run single and it was enough to beat the Ragin Cajuns.
Wyatt Marks dropped to 2-1 on the year allowing four runs off of eight hits, struck out four, and walking two batters on the afternoon.
The Cajuns (9-6, 1-1 SBC) will try to win the series in the rubber match against Troy on Sunday with first pitch scheduled for 1 pm.
