In the midst of trying times, Louisiana Ragin Cajuns head coach Billy Napier penned a letter to the Cajuns fanbase on Monday, thanking them for their support.
Below is his full letter.
Cajun Nation,
As a community, we know that Acadiana is resilient. When faced with challenges of this magnitude, we unify and pull together. That is why our football program is so proud and grateful to represent you, our fans and loyal supporters, today and every day.
I wanted to personally reach out to thank you for your unwavering support of Ragin’ Cajuns Football. Additionally, we wanted to let you know that you, your families, and your businesses are in our thoughts daily during this unique and challenging period.
Our team is still healthy and focused on their preparations, however, the first priority is the health and safety of our student-athletes, as we all look to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
I would like to also thank you for supporting our partners here locally. These businesses, like so many of you, believe in our mission to build a first-class program here at Louisiana.
Thank you for your passion and support for Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics. We look forward to seeing you at Cajun Field soon. Until then, stay safe and Geaux Cajuns.
Let’s Geaux!
