Bob Marlin will be sticking around with the Ragin Cajuns for five more years.
Marlin, who has gone 66-63 in his five years as head coach of the Cajuns, has agreed to terms for a five-year extension worth $2.5 million. Marlin is set to make 455,000 in the first year of his contract with a $25,000 pay increase ever year after that.
Marlin will also recieve a $72,000 signing bonus. The deal also has several incentives for Sun Belt Championships, postseason appearance, and academic performance.
The deal is currently awaiting approval by the University of Louisiana system.
