Some understand their community’s history. Others lived it and helped write chapters for future generations to explore.
The latter describes the circumstance of Carencro Mayor Glenn Brasseaux, who played on the first Carencro High football team in 1966.
In the spirit of celebrating 50 years of Golden Bear football, Brasseaux looked back on that inaugural team recently during an interview with Mustang 107.1 color analyst Blaine Viator.
It’s an interview that will appeal to Carencro residents past and present while giving an amazing remembrance of the origins of Bears football in the community.
