After LSU’s epic comeback against Auburn on Saturday, two players got some awards for their efforts on Monday morning.
DJ Chark was named Co-SEC Offensive Player of the Week along with Ole Miss Rebel Shea Patterson for his 15-yards receiving off of five catches and of course his 75-yard punt return that got the Tigers within four points early in the fourth quarter.
For the second straight week, Devin White earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors with his second straight double-digit tackle game. His efforts led LSU’s defense to have a great second half, allowing only 64 total yards in the final two quarters.
LSU will take on Ole Miss this Saturday with kickoff set for 6:15 pm.
